1. What This Website Is

This private reference site is independent from Mineral County, Nevada courts, law enforcement, and state agencies. It neither stores official records nor retrieves, certifies, corrects, or files them.

Its content identifies custodians such as the Sheriff, Hawthorne courts, RCCD Records Bureau, and Nevada Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also contain third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked service must not be used to stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. Nevada especially limits misuse of public registry data under NRS 179B.270 through 179B.290. The Nevada Sex Offender Registry serves public safety and community notification, never vigilantism.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Mineral County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. Data from the site or a linked tool may not be used to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any legally regulated check must be obtained from an authorized official channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice or an attorney-client relationship. A licensed Nevada attorney should address how a warrant, charge, judgment, or record-sealing law applies to a specific matter.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are provided "as is" and "as available." No warranty is made that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, case outcomes, addresses, fees, and access rules can change. Nevada uses record sealing, not destruction by expungement. Treat content as a routing aid and confirm every material point with the originating office.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

A link can lead to a county office, Nevada agency, court, legal resource, or outside search provider. The destination controls its content, availability, prices, and data practices. Its own terms apply after a visitor leaves this site.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code are owned by Mineral County Criminal History or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, altered, distributed, or used to create derivative work without prior written permission.

To the greatest extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, demands, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Nevada law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute related to use of the site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Nevada. Government record access remains governed by laws such as the Nevada Public Records Act, NRS Chapter 239, and criminal-history dissemination rules in NRS Chapter 179A.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A new version takes effect when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or ended, with or without notice, when needed to protect the service, enforce these terms, or comply with law.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be narrowed only as needed, and every remaining provision will continue in force.
