Use the office tied to the record type. Call before traveling because the general county schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while a separate Sheriff records-counter schedule is not posted.

The Sheriff also accepts its public-records web form and direct email. Its records page states a $5 request fee for a requester not affiliated with a partner agency. Ask for a cost estimate and current payment instructions before sending funds. Court files must be requested from the clerk of the court that heard the matter.
